Nine Patch Notecard

Card
This week's homemade card project is called "Nine Patch."

Card
You will need a 5" x 5" cardstock notecard.

Paper
Cut out 9 - 1 1/2" squares from scrapbook paper.

Card
Glue to the front of cardstock.

Bow
Hot glue a bow to the top center square.

Card
Quick and easy!

Card
Here is a different variation.

Ink
Add some color to the edges and surface of the cardstock circle by dabbing it with an inkpad.

Card
Add a bow and a charm. Stickers would work great, too!

Card
All ready to send to a friend! Thank you for looking at this week's project. Let me know if you make one!

Hi Kelli,
That's simply perfect! I was looking for a quick craft for a ladies' group... I think I found it. Thanks for sharing!

Just lovely. I used this idea on a scrapbook page with tiny little squares that I cut from throw away pieces of snapshots. Tiny little things like a far away basketball hoop, a lightswitch, a shoe, things like that. It turned out very cute. I may link to you with this idea and show mine as a different version if you don't mind.

I so admire people who can make such beautiful cards. I am all thumbs. There is a blog on blogger called Life with Hannah and Lily and she and her mom have weekends where they get together and make cards and she posts them on her blog. They are just gorgeous!

I love that. I bought some note cards for the valentine's day cards. I ended up not making them before v day, but perhaps I can use them for some of these lovely cards! You're so creative! =0)

I am new to card making and I made one. It wasn't as pretty as yours but it was ok.
I need to brush up on laying things next to each other neatly lol.
Will definitely be trying another of your cards.
Thank you.
