Show and Tell Friday!

Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.

Gifts
Recently I met a new friend named Christina, through blogging. We've been keeping in touch through email and letters and last week she sent me a surprise package in the mail. It was filled with so many wonderful gifts that I would like to share with you.

Gifts
A lovely morning glory hot pad, hand cream and a white and yellow hankie.

Hankie

Napkins
Special items to have a tea party with the girls, including some recipes and napkins.

Placecards
Pretty place card holders and candles.

Lace
Lovely vintage lace that I can't wait to use in some of my sewing and embroidery projects.

Lace

Books
A wonderful collection of books with dried flower projects and seasonal wreaths.

Notepads
Christina's daughter sent along some fun notepads, stickers and pens so she can exchange letters with Grace and Emily.

Teapot
A beautiful teapot tealight holder.

Blanket
And last but not least, a homemade pink blanket that is perfect out on my patio loveseat. Thank you so much for the beautiful and thoughtful gifts, Christina!

Thank you for looking at my show and tell!

Oh Kelli how wonderful! Lucky you! First of all, I have to tell you that I really LOVE the candle holder on you last picture, too! It perfectly fits over there on your patio!

Well, it's difficult to chose my favorite item of the gift box. I guess I like the vintage lace best as well as the scrap booking things!

Have a great week-end, we are having lots of rain over here these days but I won't complain, the garden really deserves it!

By the way, I am a again sharing my last week's pictures today (when there was no S&T on July 4th) and I hope that many of the S&T communitiy are going to participate in my DRAWING! I am already looking forward to sharing my seeds with friends around the world!

Take care my dear and have a great week-end!

I love the vintage lace!!! I have always loved vintage lace, but it's so hard to find.

I wish I could participate this week, but I can't. My memory card is full, and I don't know how to purge it. I wish I could, though, I got these neat starfish candles for only a dollar. Starfish are meaningful to me, and I luvs show and tell Friday.

Hi Kelli -
You got such wonderful things from your blogging friend. I love the laces and the teapot candleholder. It's all so nice.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog and for leaving your sweet comments. I'm glad you enjoyed my flowers outside my window and the story of my daughter's adventure with my pansy painting. She is a dear! Now a mother of three so she appreciates my story from a difference perspective. I'll be back soon to see what you have to share.
