Show and Tell Friday!
Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.
I found some fun strawberry fabric at Hobby Lobby a few months ago and finally got around to making Grace and Emily summer aprons. I used a simple design and let the girls pick the trim and pocket style.
Grace chose a green trim along the bottom.
And a small pocket on the right.
Emily chose a red ruffled trim.
And a double pocket in the middle.
Her favorite part!
Now they just need to find a good cookie recipe to test them out on. :0)
Thank you for looking at our show and tell!

Oh, you know I'm loving these aprons! What a great job you did! Thanks for sharing.
I have wanted to make an apron for my granddaughter all summer. The ones you made for Grace and Emily are darling, Kelli! Maybe I'll get mine made after all!
Congratulation on those pretty aprons, Kelli! And I am sure, finding a nice recipe won't be any problem! ;-)))
The strawberry fabric looks very pretty! Do you have anything left? Little fabric yoyos on the pockets would look quite nice, too!
We are enjoying the first days of our summer vacation. Summer is finally here, I love this hot weather!
Have a wonderful Friday!
Your apron is so awesome! I'm wondering if you used a pattern or made it on your own, I love the prints. I'm sure you have lots of cookie recipes, now to pick a favorite one :).

Very pretty aprons.
Kelli, you did a wonderful job on the aprons!
Love the aprons! It's neat to sew for your youngin's isn't it? I used to sew for my daughter and now she's sewing some too and doing a great job. Enjoying your blog!
Blogger was having some sort of problem yesterday and this morning, and I couldn't access your blog or link to Show and Tell until just a few minutes ago. Glad it seems to be finally resolved!
Wonderful that you made the lovely aprons for your daughters and that they enjoy wearing them! I do love the fabric! And they look charming on the girls!
Blessings to You!
These aprons are so cute!!! You are such a talented seamstress. :-) I love how you let your girls "personalize" them by making them each a little different according to their tastes. Precious!
This is just a reminder that Mr. Linky is up now for our fist Spiritual Sundays sharing.
LOVE those aprons!!!!! Just perfect. I especially like the combination of fabrics with the strawberries and the green pocket! Just wonderful! Cora
now i am inspired to make an apron too of which my daughter has been asking me to make!!!!!
Darling aprons - I think I could even manage to make a few for myself! :)
Have a wonderful weekend.
Your aprons are just beautiful! Hmmmm.. what kind of cookies??
Those are really cute. They match and yet each girl has her own style. You are very talented.
I couldn't open your blog at all the last day or so.
I forgot to participate in Show & Tell Friday. I actually forgot what day it was early that morning. The Lady and her Daughter who help me out changed their day here from Thursday to Friday so it was easy to confuse things. We got a good bit of packing done and that's a good thing.
I love Emily's apron! I like the big pocket and the red color.
I've copied the recipe above for ribs. I had seen it before but not made a copy. I will definitely try it soon. We like the country ribs that are a little larger than spare ribs. I think they are from the back bone.
GIRL THOSE APRONS NEED TO BE ON ETSY!!!!! toooooo cute!
So pretty! I need to make some aprons, just to find the time to do any sewing would be nice..lol. I hope the girls enjoy them!
Hello! I give to you a prize, "mika". Come to my blog to take it! Ciao!
