I promised to share with you a special way to welcome in the Christmas season, so here it is!

We are having trouble this year coming up with our theme for Advent. Last year we studied the Names of God, and it was so meaningful, we are having trouble coming up with something as good!

What a great idea! We NEED to keep Christ in Christmas. Too many folks are so materialistic and only think of things they want and have no thought for the real Reason for the Season.

I was just meditating on how to begin showing Jesus in the holidays. Jessica is 2yr and starting to understand more. It is important that she knows more about Jesus than Santa Claus.

The book sounds wonderful-include me in the drawing. I hate to say it, but the world has "made" us look at the commercial side of Christmas and forget WHY we are even celebrating it to begin with: the birth of Christ! Without Christ, there would be no Christ-mas!

Oh Kelly, please enter me in the giveaway! My darling 14 year old daughter pointed out to me yesterday that there just isn't enough CHRIST in CHRISTmas.....and started asking questions about why we have to have a tree, why we have to give gifts, etc. She doesn't understand the reason for all of the secularism if we are celebrating the birth of our Saviour.....in all honesty, I didn't have many answers for her. It broke my heart to see her so burdened, and my not being able to answer many of her questions and concerns. Anyhow, I would LOVE to be entered in this drawing (and I'm really praying that I win this one, because even though we've never done a whole lot with the materialism/secular portion of Christmas, we have also not done our best to keep CHRIST as the center of CHRISTmas).
