A Walk in the Woods

Aren't cameras one of the greatest inventions!

Where I live the leaves have 99.9 percent fallen so the landscape has faded to grays and evergreens. But what a glorious autumn we had this year. Thanks for sharing.

What amazing pictures! Looking at all of them remind me of the wonderful smells of the forest, especially in the fall. It's the crisp air, and the smell of the leaves as the wind whisks them away.

Ahhh, it's making me even more excited about our trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains this coming weekend!

Oh, and did you ever see what lived in that hole in the tree? I think I would have run. :o)

Gorgeous pictures! I keep saying that someday I'm going to take a trip up north during the fall to see all the beautfil colors! We do have beautfiul colors here in PA, but I would love to go up north and stay in B & B's on the way up!
